WHO ARE WE
VERO was founded by Desi Allazetta, a third-generation insurance professional, in 2021. Derived from the Italian word for TRUTH, VERO is on a mission to change the way people view their health and life insurance through an analytical approach. They say numbers don’t lie, right? Well, that’s true when it comes to structuring a benefit package for you or your employees. From the cost of turnover to the cost of a doctor’s visit, every dollar should be factored into your strategy. We believe it is time to “give your employees benefits they will brag about,” and that’s what we are here to do.
ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Desi is a desert native, born and raised in Las Vegas prior to chasing opportunity down to Scottsdale. With nearly 10 years in the benefits industry, Desi decided it was time to follow in the footsteps of his Papa and open his own insurance agency, VERO was born.
Desi is a benefit advisor who specializes in working with small & mid-sized businesses to structure custom benefit packages. While cost is a major factor in benefits so is knowing how to use them. Desi uses his accounting degree from the University of Redlands paired with a desire to educate to make sure you are taken care of.
Outside of his day to day at VERO, Desi followed his passion of giving back, and founded Collective Motoring. Collective Motoring hosts various automotive charity events & lives by the motto, “Drive with a purpose.” The goal is not only to raise money and awareness for our charity partners, but also to provide a memorable experience for the participants.
The weekend life of Desi consists of a few hobbies: golf, car shows, snowboarding & most often enjoying time with his family. He lives in sunny Scottsdale with his wife, Makena, and the newest member of his family, Lucca. As fans of local businesses, they enjoy exploring new local coffee shops & restaurants, whether that is in town or on the road.
